Support Resources

Support Resources

Purpose: Immediate, universal-access support routes for readers affected by the dataset and materials associated with the Extortion 17 shootdown. Entries are limited to organisations with no complex eligibility criteria; each can onward-refer to specialist community organisations where appropriate.

Content Note: If the dataset/materials raise difficult feelings, the organisations below are available to you now. You do not need to be in crisis, and you do not need to be next of kin.

Scope Note: No equivalent universal-access service is known to the author for families of the Afghan personnel lost in this incident (noting that for those in the UK, the Samaritans are available to provide support if interpretation services are available). This is recorded as a limitation of this section, not an omission of intent.

Validation Policy: All contact details are re-validated against each organisation’s live pages on the anniversary sweep cadence.
